Applies to the Android app Acapella Cover — Video Collage (package com.acapellacover).
Acapella Cover is an Android app that lets you record several vocal parts one at a time and assemble them into a synchronised video collage.
This app is published by LH Systems, Chile (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy, write to therealworld565@gmail.com.
This policy explains what the app does with information. It covers the app only — not other apps you may share your videos to.
This is the part that matters most, so it comes first.
When you record a take, the app writes the video and the raw voice audio to a private folder that belongs to the app on your device. When you export, it builds the final video there too. We operate no server and the app has no upload feature. None of this material is transmitted to us or to anyone else.
Your files leave the device only when you decide:
If you import a backing track, the app reads the audio file you picked and stores a decoded copy inside the cover’s folder so it can play it back while you sing. That copy stays on the device and is deleted with the cover.

Some further permissions are added automatically by Google’s advertising and Firebase libraries: advertising ID, the Android Privacy Sandbox APIs, basic phone state and wake lock. They are used by those services, not by app features.
None of this is readable by other apps, and none of it is sent anywhere.
The app includes three services, all provided by Google. They collect technical data directly, under their own privacy policies. None of them receives your videos, your voice recordings or your mixes.

The app is free and supported by ads. There are exactly three places where one can appear: a banner on the song-trimming screen, a short video you may choose to watch before exporting or sharing, and an occasional full-screen ad when you return to the home screen. No ad ever interrupts recording or playback of your mix.
Ads may be personalised using your advertising ID. You are in control of that:
Data held by Google’s services follows Google’s own retention periods. Crash reports are kept up to 90 days; analytics data according to the setting on our Firebase project.
Acapella Cover is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where you live). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads served in the app are restricted to a general audience content rating.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through this app, contact us at therealworld565@gmail.com and we will look into it.
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, or the CCPA/CPRA in California — you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection over personal data about you.
Because we hold no personal data on any server of ours, you can exercise most of these rights yourself, immediately, by deleting a cover or clearing the app’s data as described above.
For data held by Google as a result of advertising, crash reporting or analytics, please use Google’s own privacy controls, or write to us and we will help you direct the request.
Where the GDPR applies, our lawful bases are your consent for personalised advertising, and our legitimate interest in keeping the app stable and free through crash reporting, aggregate analytics and non-personalised advertising.
Your recordings live in the app’s own storage area, protected by Android’s app sandbox, and are not readable by other apps. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no account of yours to breach on our side.
Anyone with physical access to an unlocked device can open the app and see your covers, so protect your device with a screen lock.
If the app starts doing something meaningfully different with data, we will update this page and change the “last updated” date at the top. Significant changes will also be described in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
